As a graduate from WTAMU with a Bachelor’s in Mathematics Education and a Master’s in Education Administration, Kayla has a strong passion for math and helping young minds grow that same passion. After teaching for 7 years in Amarillo, Kayla’s wonderful husband gifted her the opportunity to stay home with their youngest of three children, blessing her with extra time during those precious early years. Kayla’s passion for learning, growing, and numbers never faded, though. Her love of teaching led to tutoring students throughout Amarillo on a part-time basis, while also being more involved with her own children’s education. Kayla remains interested in mathematics but wants to explore new opportunities and pursue new challenges. With her youngest child preparing for Kindergarten and a strengthened knowledge of the Financial industry, Kayla is ready to return to schools in a different role. Understanding a teacher’s day-to-day responsibilities and what they value and prioritize, Kayla hopes to help her clients better prepare for their retirement. As a lifelong teacher, Kayla commits to helping others understand the importance of preparing for the future and is eager to create the personalized strategies that will bring about success for each of her clients.
